Mr. Wilson is a seasoned strategic leader with over 29 years of deep practical experience in leading teams to success in; Cybersecurity, Cyber Assurance, Data Lifecycle Management, Information Security and Enterprise Resiliency. He has assisted some of the world’s largest organizations to reduce risk by managing cyber and the data lifecycle more effectively.
He is skilled at combining deep technical knowledge with the ability to translate complex technical issues into plain English for executives and other decision makers in the enterprise. Mr. Wilson was the CEO and CIO of an information security consulting firm for 20 years prior to joining Deloitte. He spent over a decade building a cyber assurance practice, serving nearly two hundred clients across all industries.
Background
Glenn started his security journey as a hacker. Not a bad hacker but more of a “curious kid”. He wrote one of the first war-dialers and “tested” the security of every company he could reach with his Osborne 64 and a 300 baud modem.
His curiosity and love of technology has led him to become one of the best security experts in the world. He is passionate about technology and is driven to protect the “crown jewels” of the organization.
He is also passionate about photography and loves to photograph interesting people while traveling.

As a member of the leadership team Mr. Wilson designed and implemented Deloitte’s Cyber Assurance practice. He led a team of cyber technologists, designed and implemented a leading practice framework for assessing cybersecurity and managed multiple information security related implementation projects.
His teams assessed IT and IS security practices, operational and enterprise resiliency, 3P risk, IT budgets and benchmarked organizational spend leveraging leading practices. He managed project implementations for Data Classification, Data Loss Prevention tools, Records Management, Agile/SDLC, Incident Management and Response, post-breach remediation and many more.
During his tenure Mr. Wilson served hundreds of strategic global clients.
Chief Executive Officer/Chief Information Officer
Millennium Systems – Upland, CA
January 1991 – November 2011
Led the design, build and operation of the company’s internal data network from information security policy creation to infrastructure build-out and maintenance. Oversaw the acquisition of two organizations and grew the company from $300,000 to $8,000,000. Managed a team of remote system engineers that delivered “Network Administrator on Demand” services. Provided penetration testing and remote SOC (Security Operations Center) services for emerging businesses in the legal, financial services and consumer products industries.
In 1993, he invented a network monitoring appliance called “VirTe” (Virtual Technician) and led the effort on “Y2K remediation. Identifying and hiring programmers in necessary languages and technical engineers to assess and remediate technology risks related to the impending Year 2000 date rollover. Primarily worked gigs as a self employed coder and a security tester. Wrote one of the first “War-Dialer” applications in 1981 for system testing. Wrote software for the mortgage lending industry, video games and ad-hoc client programming requests. Was proficient in C++, basic and assembly languages. Conducted many penetration testing exercises for clients.
